Bio

Creative director, stylist, editor, and now sustainability expert Mary Fellowes has operated in the top echelons of fashion and media for two decades. Based in London, she currently styles leading Hollywood entertainment talent for promo and red carpet while also consulting to fashion and luxury brands on being responsible, ethical and transparent.

After studying at Central St. Martins, Mary began her career assisting Isabella Blow, then went on to work for Vogue UK in the fashion department. Conde Nast International then brought her in to style for the new market Vogues in Japan, India, Russia and China. Alongside this she styled portraits for Vogue USA, Teen Vogue. She then went on to be the first and only Style Director at The Economist, then spearheaded the first ever Vogue in a Muslim country, Turkey.

Mary’s diverse career also includes a history of digital content. Her role as Style Editor at The Aesthete and Milkmade inlcuded managing producers, writers, photographers, as well curating, art directing, editing, writing, creating video content, across all channels.

She also has written, styled and art directed special projects with e-com giants Amazon Fashion, Yahoo Style, and Shopstyle. Additionally, she has created custom online and social content for Furthermore by Equinox, travel content to Tatler and hip travel app Porter and Sail.

Her continued her celebrity styling includes names such as Olivia Colman, Naomi Ackie, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Liv Tyler and more. Her editorial work (styling and written) has graced the pages of 51 global titles including 11 international Vogues, Teen Vogue, Interview, Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter.

Commercially, she has also styled household name brand advertising campaigns (stills and film) and runway shows in London, Milan and Tokyo.

In the last four years, Mary has been increasingly focused on integrating sustainability into her work, notably creating the first major Oscars moment with a sustainably made gown for Olivia Colman. She went on to partner with Livia Firth / her Eco-Age consultancy, creating further eco-friendly red carpet moments on household name talents.

Mary is also a powerful public speaker, and an alumni of Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainable Leadership. She has since founded Greenwith Studio where she is CEO, a multi-disciplinary consultancy that brings achievable green solutions via a network of fashion and sustainability experts to SME level fashion and luxury brands.
