Growing up in Los Angeles, MOSES MORENO was a prodigiously talented skateboarder. Self-sufficient from his early teens, the sport became his job, as well as his lifestyle, and heavily influenced the development of his very definite sense of style. In the fashion industry today, Moses’ talents are manifold; a stylist, photographer and a designer in his own right – as one half of the New York label LPD – he brings an independent spirit and edgy aesthetic to all three. As with skateboarding, Moses has mastered his skills for himself; his lack of formal training frees him from style nostalgia and brings a refreshing approach, with what he believes are the new rules of image and design. His work encompasses music, film and television, as well as fashion, and has appeared in publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, L’Uomo Vogue and Interview Magazine, whose creative director, Karl Templer, has served not only as an employer, but also a mentor.
Moses is based in New York City.
