Visionary wardrobe stylist and costume designer, FRANCK CHEVALIER, has worked with a long list celebrities including Janet Jackson, Linda Evangelista, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cher. Inspired by music and film, Chevalier is always keeping up with the pulse of the entertainment industry. He has been known to mix period-styled pieces with cutting edge fashion to create very personalized looks. Chevalier was born in Paris and has accumulated a wide range of experience within the entertainment world, including managing an eclectic array of painters, bands and clubs, in addition to a career in public relations, modeling, and later styling, Chevalier has now been in the fashion industry for 30 years. His break-through opportunity was in 1986 with Jean Paul Gaultier, a legendary costume sculptor and designer for artists like Madonna and Marilyn Manson. Chevalier is recognized as the Gaultier protégé and expresses it was the best education he could have received. Chevalier’s work has been featured in the music videos of iconic artists ranging from Michael Jackson to Elton John, John Legend, Miley Cyrus, Fergie, Daft Punk and Chris Brown. He has worked on advertising campaigns with notable brands including Apple, Ray Ban, Amazon, Comcast, Smirnoff and more. He has also worked closely with the most established photographers in the industry including Helmut Newton, Mert and Marcus, David LaChapelle and an array of talented directors such as Jonas Akerlund, Jean-Baptiste Mondino and Mark Romanek. His creative looks have also been seen on the covers of major publications like Italian Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair and he has been praised by Vogue and the LA Times as one of the “most stylish men in fashion.” An original men’s clothing brand designed by Chevalier is projected to launch this year.
