Mecca Cox is a freelance stylist living and working between Los Angeles and New York. Beginning her career in the fashion industry as a model in her teen years in her native Los Angeles, she then moved to New York at the age of 22 to pursue a career on the opposite side of the camera.
During her time in NYC Mecca was fortunate to collaborate with and be guided by some of fashions most influential stylists, photographers, and publications. This includes publications Purple, Vogue Italia, Vogue Japan, V Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Interview, and LOVE to name just a few; and apprenticeship with stylists Alastair McKimm, Andrew Richardson, Jillian Davison, Edward Enninful and more.
After years of rigorous fashion work in New York, Mecca has relocated to Los Angeles for the next chapter of her career, rounding out her resume with work on major film productions, advertising, and celebrity performances & red carpet appearances.
She continues to utilize her depth of knowledge of the fashion and entertainment industries to forge a career that is diverse and innovative.
