Born in Thailand and raised in Los Angeles, DIANNE GARCIA has always had an eye for style. From a young age, Dianne mixed various fashion finds to create something original and is now one of the most sought-after image-makers in the music world.

Dianne got her start in the fashion industry twelve years ago while working at a sneaker store called Blends. Later, she went on to study  fashion design and merchandising at Santa Monica College. Simultaneously, she assisted an esteemed stylist on projects with rapper Chamillionaire. During her college years, she spent most of her time being influenced by Los Angeles streetwear brand culture, which later would be seen as a major influence in her work. She was on track to attend FIT, but when she had to choose between school and work, she ultimately decided to leave school to assist full-time.

Not long after, Dianne met Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free, and ultimately became TDE’s stylist of choice. As a stylist to musical masterminds and creative icons, Dianne personifies the synthesis of fashion and music. She strives to make sure her artists look effortless, yet authentic. She creates balanced looks by merging streetwear aesthetic with a cultured, high fashion approach in an effortless forum.

Dianne is currently responsible for curating the inspiring wardrobes of rapper Kendrick Lamar, R&B singer SZA and Ella Mai. She’s played a crucial part in developing SZA’s comfort-first style that alternates between dreamy and lush and boyish and grown, while also guiding Kendrick’s clean looks that subtly carry the history of Compton. Her work has graced the pages of Vogue, WWD, New York Times, Glamour and Flaunt, among many others. Her trailblazing artistry can be recognized in her legendary work on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy award winning music video “Humble”,  recent videos such as “All the Stars” with Kendrick Lamar and SZA, and on Kendrick’s ‘Damn’ tour. Vogue has named Dianne one of the top 100 creatives currently influencing the fashion industry at large.

Dianne currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
